The brick bell tower belongs to the Church of St Sebastiano, which was built in the mid 15th century.
  • Venice, Italy - the Gesuati - Church of Virgin Mary of the Rosary on the Giudecca Canal in the Dorsoduro District. The current church was built in the early 18th century. Although the church is called Gesuati - Jesuit - it was built by the Dominican order on the site of a former Jesuit Church. The Jesuit order advocated a life of poverty and service. They were never very popular in Venice.

To the right is the bell tower of the Church of San Stefano. The low building in the center is the historical Library of European Linguistics. To the far right is the Church of the Virgin Mary of Good Health, from the mid-17th century. The church is one of the most well-known in Venice and is simply called "Salute."

The bell tower in the distance is part of the Church of Santo Stefano. It is leaning a good bit and is considered unstable and dangerous.
